     Thrift Store
The Sparrow's Nest is not only a store, it's a place where people come to say hello, get a hug or a shoulder to cry on and share prayer requests.  The generous donations are sorted daily for sale in the store, given to community members in need or given to local and international mission groups.  We are always looking for volunteers and bring along your smile.  The Thrift Store is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

     Bike Ministry
Our bike ministry repairs over 650 bikes a year.  Bikes are given to our homeless friends, migrant workers, senior adults and children (for Christmas and as incentives for improved performance in school).

    Thanksgiving/Christmas Baskets
We collect turkeys, other food items and money to help provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for area families in need.

     S.T.A.I.R.
Start The Adventure In Reading (S.T.A.I.R.) is an after school tutorial reading program for second graders.  S.T.A.I.R. meets at the church from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursday during the school year.

     International Missions
Each year our student ministry hosts a two or three week mission trip.  This year's trip will be to Thailand.  In January 2008, a group of adults went to Cuba.  We have had two college-age students go to England for three months.  One decided to remain and continue missionary service.  We are currently raising funds to help build an orphanage in Pakistan.
